For you are a chosen [woman], you are a royal priest, a holy [daughter]. God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

Life feels like it just starting, and opportunities are everywhere. And for the first time, your parents aren’t making all the decisions for you. It can be hard to decide what the right decision is at times. Just remember, the better you feel about yourself, and the more you believe in yourself, the easier making decisions will be. God will always be there for you in hard times. Just take it decision by decision, and be the person that you want to be. Make a list of the qualities that you’d like to embody, and make your choices based on that list. Loving yourself is always the most important thing!

You’re completely on your own now, and these are the defining moments to plan the rest of your life. It’s intense! And all over the place, there are distractions and great opportunities. Knowing which way to turn can be difficult at times. It’s time to set the path for your life. Just remember that you don’t have to compromise yourself or your values to have a great time! Your life, your choices and what does or doesn’t happen to you is no one’s responsibilities except yours. Be eager and excited for the responsibility and make your life great! God will be there for you the whole way. Maintain your relationship with Him, and you’ll have heaven on earth! College is so much fun!

You have the most precious gift of motherhood! And although changing every diaper, wiping every tear and buying every new pair of shoes all by yourself is overwhelming, all you need is a close connection to God. With that, your life will be more rewarding than anything you could ever imagine. If you put your relationship with God as your highest priority, things don’t have to be rough and times won’t get tough sometimes. Stay close to God and not only will God make a way for you every single time, your little one will grow up learning, knowing and seeing the best kind of love in life.

It probably seems like just a little while ago, it seemed wonderful. You would have never imagined it would come to this. No matter what the circumstances or causes may have been, no one will make anything better except you. You are not responsible for anyone else’s actions, but you are most certainly responsible for your action or lack of action. You can’t jump from feeling horrible about yourself to feeling great about yourself in one day, but you can in one day or in one moment put yourself in a better position to get to happiness. Absolutely no positive quality makes emotional, verbal or physical abuse okay. Love yourself enough to know that the only relationship you need is the great one between you and God. You can have something better! You can have anything you want if you allow it. Open up to God so that he can show you the way!
